Education Council

The Education Council is a partnership of the parishes in the Plattsburgh area whose mission is the operation of the

formal education and religious programs at Seton Catholic. The priority of the council is to develop and define policies

that shall govern the school within the parameters set forth by the various regulatory agencies to which the school is

responsible, to include the Diocesan Department of Education, the State of New York Board of Education, and the

New York State Board of Regents. The council is also responsible for maintenance of the buildings and equipment,

and other needs deemed necessary for the operation of the school.

The council consists of priests from each of the area parishes, parishioners of each area parish, At Large members,

and Administrative staff of Seton Catholic.

The Education Council meetings are held the 3rd  Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. All are welcome

to attend.

The Council shall make no policy that shall restrict admission to Seton Catholic Central School based on race,

sex, nationality, or creed.
