Desktop Publishing
This course utilizes all components of desktop publishing. Emphasis on creation of student projects like annual reports, brochures, and promotional materials will be completed. Principles of layout and design will be practiced. Course intended for students who desire to master the use of desktop publishing software.
Web Design
This course focuses on web page planning, basic design, layout and construction, and setup and maintenance of a web site. HTML/XHTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Photoshop, and various other web page and image creation tools are taught in the course.
Computer Literacy
This course focuses on concepts of information technology (IT), communication, use of the computer, and managing files. Course intended for students who desire to master the use of software like word processing, spreadsheets and presentations.
Graphic Design
This course focuses on software like Photoshop and Illustrator. Students will work with the tools in these programs to construct student projects. The student will demonstrate the knowledge of these programs with a final project using all of the tools in the software programs.
